Since February 9, 2022, the master plan of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park prohibits overnight stays or bivouacking throughout the Ordesa Sector of the national park, including its summit. Therefore, the route requires adjustments in its early stages and can no longer be carried out exactly as described. Even the July 2023 update does not account for this situation. It is not possible to sleep at the Small Frozen Lake, nor at the summit of Monte Perdido.
